Crystal w/ Cranberry Stain

Crystal with Cranberry Stain 1960 - c1962

As staining can be done at any time against the glass, variants are possible. Our standard colors reflect only those known to have been applyed by the manufacturer.

The mould for the bowl is close to the mould used by U.S. Glass for their Compote (as well as Colony's Fruit Bowl), but the upper sawtooth band is lacking in definition in comparison to the lower band. The stem does not match either U.S. Glass' or Colony's piece offering stems, and although very difficult to see in pictures, features four sawtooth bands, one above the thumbprints, and three below. All but the very bottom band also lack good definition. Although it may only be our piece, the seams on the bowl and the seams on the stem are not aligned at the join, significantly increasing your awareness of them.
