As staining can be done at any time against the glass, variants are possible. Our standard colors reflect only those known to have been applyed by the manufacturer.

This is a massive piece, with origins currently unknown to us. It shares U.S. Glass' moulds for both the stem and bowl, with a scalloped rim also seen in known XLCR/Excelsior pieces, so our current working opinion is that it was either a prototype or a custom piece. Our inspection of the piece shows that the bowl is not fully level on the stem, giving more weight to it being a prototype.
