This set was manufactured by Lancaster Colony Corp. as part of the Colony Crown pattern, catalog number 77/SP-2. Catalogs also provided the following description: 8" Plate, 14" plate, Handle.
As staining can be done at any time against the glass, variants are possible. Our standard colors reflect only those known to have been applyed by the manufacturer.
Note the grape pattern handle and ribbed support stems. This is indicitive of the Colony release whereas the Indiana Glass had a small bulb finale instead of a handle.
